Custom web application development

Portals, dashboards and line-of-business tools that run in the browser — connected to the systems you already use.

When a web app is the right answer

A web app is not a website. A website informs; a web app does work. It signs people in, knows roles and permissions, processes what they enter and writes results back into your systems. As soon as several people work on the same data and each is allowed to see a different slice of it, you are in web app territory.

The advantage over desktop and mobile: nothing has to be installed. You open a link and everyone works on the same state — colleagues inside the company as well as customers or suppliers outside it. If your application has to run without a network or reach local hardware, a desktop application is the better choice.

What companies have us build

Customer and partner portals

Your customers check orders, documents and status themselves instead of calling. That takes noticeable load off your office phones.

Dashboards and reporting

Figures from several systems in one place, current to the day — instead of a spreadsheet someone assembles by hand at month end.

Order and procurement systems

Entry, approvals and handover in one flow, with a traceable status for every case.

Tools built around your process

For when off-the-shelf software covers eighty percent of your process and the remaining twenty are the expensive part.

Build it yourself?

Builder, prototype — or software that has to hold

Today's app builders and AI generators put something presentable in front of you in an afternoon. That is genuinely useful: if you want to think an idea through internally, those tools are faster than any proposal we could write. We prototype that way ourselves.

The difference shows up later. When fifty people work at once, when permissions have to actually hold rather than just hide menu items, when the data model grows after two years without breaking what already exists — the prototype stops carrying. What matters then is unglamorous, and it is exactly our work.

Permissions on the server
Enforced where they cannot be bypassed, not hidden in the frontend.
Migrations without data loss
The data model grows. Changes must not damage records already in it.
Code you can hand over
Readable, tested, documented — including for a team that is not us.

How we build web apps

  1. 01

    Connect to what exists

Your ERP, inventory and accounting stay where they are. We integrate through interfaces rather than making you maintain data twice.

  2. 02

    Roles from the start

Who may see what, who may change what. We settle this before the first line, because retrofitting it later is expensive.

  3. 03

    Operated by you

Hosting in Germany or inside your own infrastructure. The repository and all access stay with you.

Common questions

What does a web app cost?

It depends on scope. A contained portal costs considerably less than a line-of-business tool with many roles and interfaces. After the first call you get a quote with a fixed scope and a fixed price, before we start.

Can you connect our existing ERP?

Usually yes. If the system has an interface, we use it. If not, we look at database or file routes. We tell you what is possible after looking at the system — not once the project is underway.

How long does development take?

Smaller applications in weeks, larger platforms in months. You see working builds early rather than waiting months for a finished result.

Where does the data run?

Wherever you want: with a German host, in your own server environment, or in your existing cloud. We follow your requirements on data protection and operations.
